Hyderabad's First Drive/Meet in January'2009

Raj, 220kms one way would again be a lot of travel. We will spend all our time just driving, thats just my thought.

Let's see what others have to say. Btw, hope your not just giving out plans and will be joining for this drive for sure..huh?

I am in if the meet is on 25th. And if Laknavaram is the finalised or not I am going there anyways this month.

I need to travel to Delhi on work from 22 to 27th so am out for this one. but will catch up with you guys on the 7th/18th at the DQM drag.

Guys, the road to warangal is generally a good one. However, it is just one lane each way and therefore might not be like the one we did Bidar meet. So please include a good 3.50 hours for the drive with our usual pit stops!!
I did this in 2:45 min from ECIL. My Suggestion is not to touch the Uppal circle at all. There is a good shortcut from ECIL which will take us close to Ghatkesar(goes via Keesara village). So the last meeting point can be ECIL X roads from here we can dash off!!

guys...because of the Satyam fiasco, in case the Satyam employees here are not in a proper frame of mind to go on long drives, we can postpone the trip.

I agree with Anand. Lets postpone if required as I think these are tyring times for some of our friends.

I too agree!I guess the situation isin't conducive enough to continue with the proposed meet, however the call can be taken by Avi,Hillram,Amit,Rajesh..

My take is we continue ,would be a good opportunity to unwind (after all we all have some kind of problems in life ) and the best way to deviate from it is mingle with good friends.

I think all this should be over with someone taking over in the next 10 days or so..

so lets wait and watch ,for now lets continue as per planned..
