Mumbai Meet - May

Are you depending on viper to sign you in at the turf club? Have you asked him?

If he agrees, the turf club is an excellent venue to meet, greet and eat. I will be there. Just let me know the time and date.

Spoke to Viper,

Here's the rules of meeting up at the Turf Club. (tentative as of now)

1) No shorts, 3/4ths, t shirts, chappals, inappropriate traditional wear, pyjamas etc.
2) Shoes - formal, attire - business or business casual.
3) No of people to be confirmed prior to the meet.
4) Guest entrance fees apply (this is across all clubs in Mumbai) between 60-70.

Please confirm your numbers here before we set out for the venue.

A backup venue is being planned as well.

i am in! please count me in. totally. i shall adhere to the rules mentioned by mmmjgm(i got that right in the first attempt! yay!)

PS: mmmgjm is right. we all MUST make sure we pay the guest fee. even if jiggy refuses (its bad on our part. we cant let him pay for so many of us!)

Where at Turf club are youll planning to meet? At the mini club house or the Gallops? or the ARC or the Olive? Only the mini club house or the arc requires a member to sign in for the guests.

I'm in for dinner at turf club too. However, as far as i know, collared t-shirts are allowed.

EDIT: Scooby, last time we met at the mini club house and i guess this time too we shall do the same.

we intend to meet at the mini club house nearer to the Essar house entrance, same place where we had met to meet Shahnawaz.

Oh God, I forgot about that. I'll have to go home from the office and change into full pants and shoes. Ugh.

This is the date requested by the well known Cheap Guest.

Sam, you can always bring a pair down when you leave in the morning to work, change at the club or at work before you move out.

thats a first !! people normally wear full pants and shoes to work and go home to change into shorts.
