(This is just a copy paste from the May thread

Let the mansoon set in, we can plan accordingly.

OK, how about this one?

If the rain gets delayed, we can first go to Laknavaram and after the rain(in Nalgonda), lets decide on Nalgonda.

Some of you might be thinking about what Nalgonda is to do with the rains.

Every year around this time, we have a ceremony(pandaga = festival) before the reaping of the fruits(sweet lime known as Mausambi). A goat/sheep/pottel is sacrificed and celebrated(any blue cross members around, please excuse me). The sacrificed goat is made into mutton curry which will find a place in the tummies of the friends and the laborers working in the farm . Normally the reaping starts after the rains. As the rain water brings in nutrients to the plants, the quality of the fruits is enhanced and also the water content(juice) is increased.

On the accomodation front, our farm house is 1BHK, so if families are accompanied, accomodation will be difficult.

I hope I have cleared some doubts here. Some more will be cleared with time.

A tentative agenda

Nalgonda-120km

1. Go there on saturday evening(by 7:00).
2. Chill out in the evening with good food.
3. Morning we can go out for a walk / trek / off roading.
4. Lunch(11:00 to 3:00).
5. Start back around 3:30 or 4:00.

or Warangal-220km

1. Again go there on saturday evening.
2. Chill out in the evening with good food.
3. Morning - Sight seeing (Laknavaram lake).
4. Lunch.
5. 4:00 - head back.

Raj.

Arey Raj..I never thought you will hop skip and jump into June with same confusion as in May.
Also tell me one more thing..If we are not your friends..do we have to work like laborers in your farm to earn that mutton curry into our tummies?

What would the deliberations be or do we take that up offline too?

As you might have noticed in my post, the accomodation could be a problem.

1. There is no AC in my farm house / Laknavaram, where we might be staying in my uncle's ancestral house. We will(have to) depend on the nature.

2. No beds to sleep on, we have to sleep on the floor.

While its exciting for a nature lover like myself, but doubts rose whether everyone is comfortable with it and there were 3 instant NOs. Alternatively if it were to be Laknavaram, we can stay at Warangal(the same hotel where getsurya and nag stayed) and go to Laknavaram for which we have to travel for 2 hours. All these dampened the spirits of the rest and hence both of them cancelled.

Raj.

June is going to be a busy month for me. Got an exam on the 13th, so run up to 13th would be with book. After that for a fortnight, I am planning to be on vacation.

But lets see. You never know ...

Suren,

I really missed being a part of the May closure meet and the award's , work and life are keeping me very busy. I WILL make it out this month. Just my 2 paise, we have the Bhavani Island which we can make it. Else if it is a short drive how about a Barbeque meet to make it different.

P.S. what about our mini-meets for the following month?
