Quite a lot of interesting meets you guys have had over the recent past, or are going to have in the near future. Lost of golf action going on out there.

Great going everyone!

Anurag, This looks very similar to Songs of Earth and it will be a tiring day with so much activity! (We all like to have relaxing environments with the AC on right?)

Folks, the cute hostess from Hampshire has moved to Ella Suites. She is coaxing me in every way to divert our group to her new job location.

Is the location-Ella Suites in Gachibowli which is supposed to be very plush, is an agreeable venue for all?

I am awaiting her fixed price offer

Wish it was what you are thinking. There would be a long booking list with me at the head of that queue

Well, the deal clincher is pricing of their food and soft beverages ( Had to be specific here...LOL)

Im okie on the Ella Suites.Sounds interesting and it will be a good drive for me,instead of Hampshire plaza which is 5 mins from my home.

off the topic : Today i got to know that Hakimpet Airforce station allows civilians to do Aero Modelling on Sundays and best part is the Air Force staff teach you how to fly these RC Planes.Isnt that wonderful? We can even drive the RC cars on the tarmac.Plenty of place and we get to see the Airforce station too.
Time to bring out your RC planes/Choppers out of your hangars and RC Cars out of your Garages.
Get Surya,Suren,Arun,Raveendra...guys get ready for this.Lets plan this meet for next Sunday guys..what say?

off the topic again: Went to see the new Yamaha Fazer and got bowled over by the looks and the test ride.Simply awesome. All the thrills and frills forRs.80K OTR.But only 150cc..thats the saddest part.

Wow, seems most of the lads are keen on Ella Suites thanks in no mean part to this 'cute hostess', so let me get the ball rolling by being the first to ask for her number (not from Mobike tho - that is just not kosher).

I hope Ella suites confirmed (else I will have to buy Mobike a drink there so I can be properly introduced).

Time 7.30 p.m.
Day & Date: Friday 10th July 2009,

The usual suspects + some more:

1. Hillram
2. B.Ravveendrra
3. Mobike008
4. Downsouth
5. Discobiscuit
6. Straightdrive
7. Pulsar56
8. Rajesh Rawal
9. Himanshugoswami
10. Suren181+1
11. Anurag_p80
12. Abysnthguzzler
13. Nagvasireddy
14. Huntrz

Cheers,

Guys, got a response and here is what's on offer at Ella Suites :-

Price : Rs.700/Head All Inclusive, Minimum 15 Pax
Food : 2 Veg Starters and 2 Non-Veg Starters Unlimited. That's it, no food mind you
Unlimited Beverage: Please PM me for details
Service : 2 Hours
Welcome Drink: Some fruit drink i guess

There would be a welcome drink too. They will arrange for a nice seating arrangement on the open terrace with absolute privacy

At the outset, the price is high, so if people are ok with the venue which as i said is supposed to be quite plush, i can try to negotiate the price down to Rs.500/Rs.550 and service to 3 hours.

If my negotiation does not work, then Hamshire Plaza zindabad !!!!

Let the ideas and confirmation flow in

If they want us to move from Hampshire, they have to beat Hampshire's price. Hampshire is in the middle of town while Ella is somewhere beyond ..... So Ella has to be cheaper to compensate for the additional fuel expenditure. 2 hours is too short, we would have barely hit our stride by then. 8 to 11 is the minimum time. Open terrace might not cut it as this is the monsoon, we might accept an open terrace if they provide alternate accomodation in case of rain. These are recession times, occupancies of hotels are down and restraunts and pubs are hard pressed for customers, we too are short of cash, so every rupee counts.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Well said Ravveendrra.
As a matter of fact I had been there once to meet a friend of mine who came from US on official visit and was directed to Ella suites since Novotel was fully booked. It truly was a second grade place. I didn't find anything there that would want me to revisit the place. To begin with the parking slots were very narrow(not a trivial matter for automobile lovers), rooms were poorly finished food was surprisingly ordinary. only good thing about the place according to me is its location(and the cute hostess ). Those working in Hitec city will find it closer.
