Abhijit Sorry to hear that. Still, I hope you'll be able to make it.

Satya, I am stupid. I didn't think that if we go ahead as planned, you'll be picking up the car at that point. I'll PM you my number and you can call me for an update after you pick up the car.

xsaraking great that you can join us!

Actually, slight change of plan. I'm planning to pick up the rental from Rutherford. Cheaper & I'm going to keep it for the whole weekend. So I can make it for the conf call just fine...

Get your laptop along and use a free wi-fi spot wherever we stop for food. Lot of these fast food chains have them now, right?

My pulse started racing as I read this -
3. Satya / Rental (the corvette will have to wait till next time)
AND then I concentrated on the latter half of the sentence :(
Some other time...

Thats a pity, dude. We'll drag you kicking and screaming to the next one, no matter how desperately you need to stay!

Everybody else, I've just printed out detail maps for the route which should help tomorrow. Will discuss details in person, along with a couple of options for slightly lengthing the route in one place and shortening it in a couple of other places, depending on what everybody feels like, how the weather holds up, how things look on the ground, etc.

Talk to you all at 8!

You bet!

What a day, is right! A fantastic route -all thanks to Harbir's extensive research! Fabulous time had by all!

Almost 8-10 hours of pure enthusiastic driving and car talk!

For all those who couldn't make it - you sure missed something and we hope to see you on the next one!

Cameo by Xsara: Turned in another surprise - said he'd show up on a bike and turns up on a monster Harley V-Rod! Glad you could join us for part of the ride buddy. Evo for sure next time around!

Thanks Guys

That trip was 'Orga*mic' (i couldnt find a better word than the one that Harbir mentioned).

I sincerely thank you all for making my day and a lot of dreams come true -
1. Cruising in a bright yellow lotus sport at mind-blowing speeds, through neck-breaking curves...it was the best joyride of my life so far
2. Moving over to the 330i, was a pleasure of different sort. Chasing the Lotus at times made me aware of the presence of that demonic engine and the artistic machinery that lies under the hood and elsewhere in that executive car.
3. The V-Rod...OMG! What can I say...just look at the pics that follow!
4. Last but not the least, the rented G6 was also fun and it was amazing how Satya used his driving skills to keep up with the others beast on the list...he sure tamed the G6.

The Machines -
