I'm sure someone is taking care of the financials as well. I suggest we contribute a fixed amount at the start of the trip and manage all the group expenses from that fund. This would avoid having unjustified individual spendings during the day and at a latter stage feel sorry for having spent more than others.

Does it really make sense going to Lonavala with the Swine Flu flying around ?

People from Pune / Mumbai (not T-BHPians) will be there and it being a long weekend expect hyper crowds - the chance of an infection is much much higher.

Hmm - Seems a valid enough concern. Its not that T-Bhpians are immune to this stuff so probably why take the risk - As you have rightly pointed out - being a weekend these places would be crowded.

Would still love to go for a drive though -any suggestions of relatively unknown or uncommercialized locations?
