Tvm Bhpians, I've got to warn you about something which I saw this Saturday near Museum parking.
I had parked my car on the road which goes perpendicular from the main-road at the second museum entrance Junction. (Sorry don't know road names) I went to the zoo to meet up with one of my relatives and his children, took some snaps of the animals & birds (do check out official non-auto image thread ) and later, came back to my car.
As I was sitting inside the car, about to start off, I saw three guys who look to be in their 18-20s walking past the road where lots of folks had parked their cars by that time (5:30PM).
All three were carrying plastic bags folded as if some books were kept inside. What made me notice them was, they were looking precisely at the back and front sides of all the cars parked. I strongly suspect they were out stealing the badges from the new / popular cars around there. I got out of my car and continued keeping an eye on them, but by that time they reached the traffic junction and vanished somewhere.
I read in some other thread about this dude who de-badged his new car because many cars in his locality started loosing their badges lately...
Anyway I don't have to worry until I get the Punto because my current badge looks 10 years old though the car is only 3.5 years.
Vaalkashanam: One of my colleague's Fiesta 1.6's badges got stolen. He doesn't know when and where.
