Mahabaleshwar - give a thought to Lavasa as an alternative - the problem is that prices go through the roof on weekends/holidays and you need to book much in advance as huge crowds descend from Mumbai/Pune.

Goa and Vizag - weather may not be the best at this time of the year, being sultry and hot, but then, you do get a nice drive and a holiday.

best will be mahabaleshwar[ 2 days]-ganapatipule[2 days]-goa[3 days] and 2 days for to and fro.

now, over to hyd gang.
Thanks guys! Not sure where Lavasa is---will look up Google Maps.
Asish--your suggestion looks good to me.

Since most of us are sunday opters, how about Sep 27 for a drive meet? Destination can be decided? What say?

Disclaimer: If the Goa drive happens then i am out of the Sep drive...LOL
Sorry about not keeping you guys posted - the meet in Goa stands cancelled for now as far as I am concerned.

I and lill chap want in - but his exam schedule wants us to keep us out! Put us down as 'tentative'. (I found my old dhurries - so we could have a proper picnic spread!).

Cheers,

for option 1, i have none in one piece and cant join the fun, but would love to come check them out.

do they allow you to use nitro cars inside the park, or is it just electric?

for option 2, what are our options for places where we can do this?

I believe Nitro cars are also allowed in Sanjeeviaiah park.So why nottry RC first.
Golfing can be at Bolarum GC or Golconda GC...But we need a member to intro us.

A close friend is a member of Golconda Golf Club. Let me ask him the rules and regulations for non-members to play golf there.

How many of you have played golf before? Hillram, you have, I suppose?

I know the basic rules but have never set foot on a course.
