iFine dude - was just concerned and if you cant understand that , well !! and i again repeat i wasnt saying that ice was rash / not careful - the only point i was trying to make is - why risk taking a chance on these roads !!

as for the holier than than thou attitude - all i can say is SAD !!

and yeah before you come back - i am not even doubting your parental instincts !

Ajmat, I have no intention to drag it any further. Bangalore T-BHPians who have rode with me know my driving style, that's enough for me.

N o way that a santro can do 140kph and at the same time overtake a 1.6 baleno.

as the xing has a top speed of 137kph.and the max that i cu d avere manage on a santro was 140 speedo ,and that too on a downhill stretch.

so this looks as if the baleno has a big speedo error.o r mabbe the santro got a tow by following ur car.

SS, I don't know what was the exact speed of that Santro but that (KA 20...) car had four people on board. A skinny guy was driving and man, he was moving really fast!!

By the way that car was not looking comfortable at that speed.

I didn't mean exactly 140Kmph, it was definitely between 130-140Kmph. Also he didn't overtake me at 140, I slowed down to get him off my back. Being a safe driver, I was uncomfortable with doing any racing on the highway.

Ahem ahem! I hope this is the only reason. Coz if Mr. Psycho gets some "psycho" ideas, then "psycho" things can happen. Hmmmmm... India's first turbocharged Amby, maybe?
A certain old man is gonna crucify me for this.

Bangalore boys we gotta do something about Amitoj and his driving skills... Damn I felt like crying trying to catch up with him twice I was shocked to see the speedo needle on the esteem clocking at 160 (yeah there was a long slope, an empty strech, speedo error, tire sizes etc)... looks like might have to upgrade to a faster car for the next drive

Gawd I cant get that look out of my head when Amitoj jumped on to the bonnet to protect his car.

Well I dunno about the old man but I seem to have backed off more performance work on the car post the port job... now it is just handling and maintainance...

As far as this Psycho is concerned he is more intrested in well built cars for specific type of driving rather than performance all the time... Dunno if the psycho ideas rub off
