To stop this virus, either I have to change the organization where I am working to another one which works 5 days a week or our organization starts this policy.

PS: Another option - I quit my job and take up agriculture on a full time basis!!

@Nick, good to see you back. Been working too hard? IIRC, you joined us for one of initial drives to Vikarabad.

Do you still ride that petrol guzzler or got a more FE savvy one?

Btw, its 70kms. So that'll be 140kms up and down.

Good to know our kirkiri is doing some ground work and identified a superb offer in Chattesh in Jubilee Hills.

Raj, Ca Ca Ca n n you post the details? ( "Raj" is the most commonly used character name of stuttering superstar, no prizes for guessing)

P.S: I am off to Warangal in couple of hours for weekend and will be enjoying dense forests at Etunagaram

Wow!!! Etunagaram, should be good place. Do keep the contact numbers of the Forest Officer handy. I've put up the details on my Goa Travelouge.

Avoid this place like the plague- horrible food and crap service- only the ambience is Okish at night if you sit on the terrace and ignore the mosquitos....

I agree.
Horrible and very bad mannered staff.
And of course the mosquitoes and flies.

I think 45 is also part of the same group.
The bad experience from Chatees has always stopped me from even considering 45.

O.T.: B Positive

Hi,

Calling all TBHPians from Hyderabad with B+ blood group to identify themselves by means of a PM to Suren181, Pulsar56 or me and be 'on call'.

Absynthguzzler has been diagnosed as suffering from Dengue and his blood platelet count has fallen drastically. If it is not arrested he might require blood / platelets. He is being admitted to KIMS.

Thanks in advance.

O+ required by TBHPian in Hyderabad (not B+ as posted earlier).

The above post needs a correction, the blood group is O+. There was some confusion last night.

Update: Absynthguzzler is in room 5559 of KIMS, he has received 4 units of platelets around 1.00 am today which has arrested the fall in platelet count but he needs his platelet count to be pumped up. Anyone who can donate O+ blood is requested to report there or call or PM me or Suren181 or Pulsar56.

Thanks,

This is really sad news. I was with Prabhu this morning and he was mentioning about Arun. For some reasons, I did not realize that its Arun (Absynthguzzler). I could have donated blood if it was B+, though if I remember correctly, I had donated blood in July / August this year itself.

Wishing Arun a speedy recovery.

You bet. I was double careful to slow down there and wave out to them.

They seemed disappointed that i greeted them from far, had it been closer they would have seen some more moolah

Oh boy! what a whirlwind trip. unfortunately, couldnt go to Etunagaram but spent last two days in Warangal. Our friend was amazing to check us into a 3-star type hotel with 3-4 guys constanly taking care of us with all our needs and what we did till wee hours of today morning cannot be described here.

Yesterday afternoon made a quick visit to Bhadrakali temple and i was pleasantly suprised to find it a much bigger and beautiful temple than the 1000 Pillar temple.

Clicked a few pictures from my crappy phone camera. Will post 'em later on.

Here comes the updated list :-
