It was amazing is all I can say. There were about 10 of us in 5 cars, beautiful roads, a bit of off roading etc.. but then again, ill let the pics do the talking. The guys are busy working on them.

As planned left house at 8am filled the tank and before i could start got a call from preetam saying he wants to join us. Picked him up near IIMB and reached empty NICE road to show preetam some speeds of elantra and reached meeting point exactly at 8:33am just to see none have arrived.

Everyone reached by 9:20am IST(Indian standard timing) except sriraj who called and informed that he will join us near bidadi and does so.

I have to mention that the thatte idle they sell near bidadi is amazing, it should be called butter thatte idle.

Nice pics again. Phrozenfire: The clutch is fine. Checked it out at a mechanic near Maddur CCD, he said it was just the excessive use of clutch and revving in 1st gear that caused the smell n smoke. No issues now.

To give other reading this post a brief history, the drive in some areas involved a lot of hill climbing and very rouogh terrain, ideally suited for a 4X4, hence to move the car over the rock etc, I had to crawl up in 1st gear and i stupidly used the clutch quite excessively while revving hard. THis in turn smoked the clutch plate which resulted in some smoke initially and then later followed by burning smell, whihc at times got so storng, that the car at the back was getting the smell.

Got it checked by a mech and after we hit the highways again, things got fine, that the clutch cooled down.
