I am unable to beat your record due to tyre change issue. Besides, i am in no hurry to complete my run-in as want to enjoy " every km" and not waste it in a hurry...LOL

How about a Vikarabad Drive Meet?

Hydeez, why is everything funeral silent in here?

Monsoon is in full force and we need to take advantage of it ASAP.

Best way to enjoy it is a drive meet ( Another major reason is something you guys know already)

How about one next sunday? Vikarabad?

mini meet

Had a mini meet with waseem bhai last evening. He came down from his office at about 6:30pm to panjagutta (that's where i'm busy nowadays). We chatted for a while had a mini early evening dinner (plain rice, aloo curry, egg bhurji).

Went on to pray at Big Masjid and then gulped down a cup each of the best Big bhai harees at a nearby bhatti.

Nice mini meet waseem bhai, hope to see you soon again.

No Activity

4 days and not a single post on the meet thread

This from a set of guys who invariably meet up 2 times in a week. This is almost equal to blasphemy.

I have a novel idea for meet. Details available on this thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...tsd-rally.html

As long as the MEETS DO KEEP HAPPENING even if there are NO POSTS about such meets ... I think I read about a meet at Kondapur where there was no chick-en and I think I also read about a wish-meet in the offing apart from the Haleem specials which will take off soon.

APMSC - Good idea though I am out of station.

Meet at Tadoba on 14th and 15th of August

Hello Hyderabadis....
I am hosting some friends from the forum at tadoba for 2 days of being in the wild with tigers on the 14th and 15th of August.
The group starts from Hyderabad on friday night by bus / own transport to reach nagpur on saturday morning and from there we drive to Tadoba.

Call me on 09960332228 if anyone is interested to join in.

To know what IS tadoba you are advised to read this http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...ml#post2016522

regards,
Dr. A Ghosh

Circuit - up close and personal
Hyderabad Meet Thread: All meets from May'10-img_5544-circuit-up-cose-ad-persoa-copy.jpg

This is Circuit - the most inquisitive male cub of the litter of 4 tiger cubs at Tadoba. This bold guy came right up to my Gypsy door to investigate at eye level with a kind of "gum chewing" American "who's the boss" attitude.

AP saab. Guess you had too much sprite in Mahabaleshwar (after cancelling your Bhimashankar plan).
The meet is at Bidar and the Hyd members planned to drive 240 kms.
Now where did you pull out Goa from?

As the HYD TBHPians were planning a Goa drive which ultimately didn't take off, that's why the Goa reference. Information regarding this would be there few posts earlier.

From initial 15 people confirmation, it had come down to 6. Hence, the plan was put on a back-burner.

But, trust me that trip will happen sure in future

Cat outta the bag!

I see Mobike has beaten me to it. Well, to cut a long story short, last night a chunk of TBHPians met to celebrate a few special events like birthdays and acquisition of a new car. As is to be expected when a rowdy gang meets up, there were a lot of fireworks but one burning topic discussed was the next drive as the mega-drive to Goa fizzled out due to a lot of members not being able to accomodate the organisers due to prior commitments to host Barrak Obama & HM QE II, playing golf with Ms. Carla Bruni in the south of France, hot date with Ms. Cruze etc.

After much heated debate it is decided that we would do a drive meet on the weekend of 14/15th Aug. I plumped for 14th Aug as it is a 2nd Sat. and being in town in 15th would give me an opportunity to see Stanher's WIP Lambretta LD and perhaps a few other true beauties. Unfortunately, most of the commited and interested TBHPians are working on 14th so in deference to their genuine interest to participate in the drive the date is fixed to 15th.

The programme: Leave BHEL Ramchandrapuram by 8.30. Pay obeisance at the Gurudwara in Bidar. Perhaps visit the fort. Have a stomach filling lunch and head back to Hyd to reach by 5.00 p.m.

I am confirmed. My ride will be decided in the course of the next week depending on the verdict of the redoubtable Mr. Prabhu of New Mars. I however have to be back in Hyd by 4.30 p.m. so I will be leaving before the rest of the gang.

Now I only hope that Stanher will oblige with a private viewing of his beauty.

Cheers,

@mx,

Milecruncher's post has the answer to your query.

And yes, i am neither sprite lover nor post anything under sprite effect.

I am frequenter on this thread and like hydz enthusiasm about meet and drive.

I am sure, hydz will have Goa drive in near future.
