It was a lovely Mumbai-Pune T-BHP meet at Lavasa, thanks to Issigonis for his call for this meet. Got to meet new faces from Mumbai and Pune:
Vishu from Mumbai, your modded black Alto was a lovely sight.
@Keen_to_know, was nice meeting you and your family and look forward to meet you all in future meets.
Cap'n Chitnis, your tapri chai was the best; made better by the downpour.
Iqbal Veerji, it was nice meeting you for the first time. Hope to see you in future meets as well. I did not really get to talk to you much this time.

@Bolero sir, it was nice meeting you once again. I know your pictures will be be duly posted. I shall await the group picture.
@goose, it was nice meeting you once again along with your friend.

On the return we took a pit-stop at Khopoli Food Mall. That too was great, what with authentic Marathi Vada-Pav, presented by Shaun.

The drive back was simply amazing going round those bends in a heavy downpour. I somehow did not do much photography so only a few pictures from my side.

Hey guys it was a great meet. I wish we had more time and more team Bhpians join this meet. The dressing on the cake was the evening rains which made the weather much pleasant.

@nanduchitnis: thank you sir for the terrific snaps. I am sure you have more of those to share.

@issigonis: Sir thanks a lot for taking the lead for us Mumbaites & also the safe underground parking.

Nice snaps nanduchitnis. Following are some observations from them

1. Dada: Your car is gleaming. Need to know the raaz (apart from the spit-wipe theory that you told us the last time)
2. Anilisanil: Your car looks great in the snaps. Also checked out your alloys in the other thread. They look excellent on the car.
3. HVishwanathan: That is really an awesome Alto that you have.

Last but not the least:
4. Spruce: You had a haircut?

Hi . everybody just reached home now had dinner and sat down with posting the photos.Pls enjoy them Ihave taken the photos of almost all the cars while trailing them. I could not do it yesterday due to some technical problem. Yesterday I started back journey at 3.35pm,there was a commitment in mumbai,I told about it to Issigonis at LAVASA.
It was great time yesterday meeting and getting introduced along with some old friends, some new ones from Mumbai as well as all new ones from Pune.
At first I would clear myself about the issue of driving at 80-90 kms/ph,matter for that I have witnesses not one but two of them viz.Vishwanath and Rahul they will clear me out about the SPEED 80-90 since we started together from sion to macd Kalomboli,speed was maintained.Actual speed variations started after eating BURGERS,MUFFINS,COFFEE.I will totally blame it to macd.

Secondly I was scared that I will get lost if I will go slow and will be left out. There were highly modified ALTO, VW, HONDA CITY,etc .etc.
Everyone were vanishing into thin air in front of my eyes so in my mind there was AKASHWANI it told me IQBAL what are you doing go ahead and forget the promise of 80-90 you can explain about it at later stage.

It was really a great meet Nice meeting MX6 although I
could not speak much with him maybe next time we can chat for a longer time.
Very good experience meeting Keen-to-know, (Mr.Hiraskar) I came to know that at one time he was staying at Dadar near Prakash Hotel, I told him that before shifting to Versova we too were staying at Mahim near Citylight Cinema,he introduced me to his sons and his wife,during that time the stupid waiter told us that SAAB PLS TABLE KHALI KAR DIJIE but in soft language I my son and Keen-to-know had a hefty laugh on the waiters attitude.
I could not speak to capt.Chitnis,infact he did not even speak with us,may be next time we can talk to each other.

PJ Biju and his family, myself and my son shared the same table,and had discussion about good and bad about VEG and NON VEG food,I told them about my wife that she is PURE PURE PURE Veg.We also spoke about not so good service of the restaurant.PJ Biju and I met for the first time at pune and he asked me if I am IQBAL ?.,Ithink it was due to my Swift.

Gostel and his wife and myself met at Macd. infact he saw my SWIFT and came forward asking me IQBAL?. It was great talking to him.
Anil sanil it was nice speaking to you , Iforgot to tell you that one of our tanent is having Figo same colour, and he is very happy with it.

It was so nice of BolBolero to join us inspite of such a tight schedule due to his project at Karjat,I heard that after the meet he proceeded to Karjat again at night .
Parimal had joined me in my swift at Macd up to Pune. Infact I spoke to him today evening.
Sprucegoos and my son had a snap taken togather my son says that he drives very FAST ,I told him not only FAST but safe also. I was to ask him about his modified ZEN which he had brought during Barbeque Nation meet at Carter road Bandra.

Issigonis ji, all the credit for yesterdays enjoyable meet eat drive goes to your hardwork. Now when and where are we meeting again plsssss.To me It is a great pleasure in meeting and talking to you.

Hi All,

Once again a great meet and a big round of applause to Issigonis for conceptualising the meet. A big thank you to all those who attended, many of whom I met for the first time. It was great making your acquaintance and hope to meet up more often.
The drive to Lavasa was fantastic. Some really super smooth roads, with lots and lots of twists and turns. All the cars driving in a convoy on those beautiful roads must have been a sight to behold! All in all a lovely way to spend a Sunday. (Entirely my opinion!)
Was a tad disappointed with the food at Chor Bizzare. The rains on the drive back from Lavasa were a welcome change from the heat of the day. The tea/s at Prabhat Tapri was superb and perfectly complemented the weather. Thank you Captain Sir. This place will be a must stop for every drive to Lavasa. Misal and Chai next time!
Faced a huge traffic jam after Lonavala on the e-way. Maybe it was due the rains and the weekend traffic returning to Bombay. Reached Karjat at around 9.00 pm, dropped of Parimal at the station and then proceeded to my farm. Wrapped up there at around 11.00 pm and began my journey home, reaching at 12.15 am.

@Issigonis, A big thank you for organising this meet.

@nanduchitnis, was honoured to meet you and your better half sir. Your energy levels and spirits are phenomenal and so are your photography skills! Hope to meet you more often.

@Gostel, Once again a pleasure meeting you and madam.

@Keen_to_know, was a pleasure meeting your family and you! Your beemer rocks sir. Was wonderful driving behind it on the way back from Lavasa and seeing it handle the curves beautifully!

@Iqbal Veerji, Sir was great meeting you and your son once again. Sirjee, "koi nahi jee", 80, 90, 100 are all numbers. As long as you know that you are in control!

@MX6, Once again saar, entirely my pleasure meeting you. Next meet we shall discuss various South Indian Movie Stars! he he he! Regards to your parents.

@pjbiju, was great meeting your family and you once again! Very kind of Alex to enquire about Aditya! My love and regards to him. BTW be careful sir, you have another auto enthusiast on your hands! Next meet I will try to get my family along.

@Parimal_g, thanks for the company on the ride to Lavasa and back to Bombay. I would have been probably tearing my hair out in frustration if it wasn't for your company. (BTW agree with MX6, whats the name of your deo/perfume, sure smells good!) Sorry could not make it earlier to Karjat and you had to miss the wedding reception. Awaiting snaps from your side.

@anilisanil, your Figo rocks man. The alloys are killers. Nice meeting you again. Looking forward to the travelogue of your second honeymoon!

@hvishwanathan, what should I say about you Alto, that hasn't already been said! Lovely and very tastefully done mods buddy! Loved the growl of the engine! Was a pleasure meeting you and Rahul and making your acquaintance.
