Guys i have an idea. The weather is improving. Why don't we all plan to go for a drive to thol? Just a suggestion. I don't think going to thol and back would take too long. couple of hours may be. Would be a good get away too.

Please throw in your inputs. We could gather up on any Sunday late afternoon(3:30-4) and start and be back by 7 - 8 or so.

Thol is a great idea, but due to drizzling rains, we will have to be extra careful. I had a bad experience there last time I visited. The earth was loose and soggy due a morning shower and my Car was stuck in the sludge. Took almost 3-4 hours of efforts to get it out.

But still, Thol would be a great idea.

@ h@r$h@l: Any other such nearby spots that we can head out to. AFAIK there isn't any, but still, just hoping that I am wrong.

may i suggest automators (neighborhood hyundai) on SG road, Patel Avenue for the meet.
Vishal, the owner of Neighborhood owns a punto and is into performance stuff.
my car has been done up at his place only.
just a suggestion.
and yeah...4/5th december would be a better time. 5th dec specifically.

I will be driving in my Cedia. But my friends have driven to THOL in past in Cedia and cars alike. I dont think it should be a problem. Thol was just one suggestion. Let me think of other options.

Where was the last Ahmedabad tbhp meet held? if that was a good deal, we can re do the same place. The farm house option works out well if all are OK with that.

Thol wud be the best and even a farmhouse. Another nearest good place that I can think of is Polo forest. but that's almost 200 kms away from Ahmedabad.

what we can do is, have a fixed time and meeting point somewhere along SG road (eg. danny's opp. rajpath) and then we can start off from there to where ever we are going; farm house or thol.

Guys. just got this idea. What better place for a tbhp meet than the vintage auto mobile museum at a farm house. About 20-30 mins drive from here. A nice farm house owned by Mr. Pranlal Bhogilal. We can all go there & see the collection and than have dinner there itself.
