A WONDERFUL meet, i would say.

Where else would Tbhpians wake up at 4 a.m or 4.30 a.m on a SUNDAY and meet up at 5.30 a.m!!

Two members dropped out - Nisarg (had to rush to Baroda due to some reason) and Teknophobia ( without any reason - bad bad boy!)

I reached Honest at 5.25 a.m to receive a sms from Harshal hoping to wake up all. He reached soon and was followed by Hiren and then the crowd swelled.

All of us assembled by 6 a.m and left immediately for Thol in 3 vehicles ( Achint's scorpio, Aditya's Jeep and Tom's Punto).

After some jugaads by Rutvij at the sanctuary entrance for the fees and under his experienced guidance of a good spot, we made our entry at the sanctuary.

The Thol Sanctuary :









Well... the birds were not there in great numbers ( they usually come around in December), but then we'd not gone there for the birds anyways!

Soon, the birds were left aside and discussions began. They might as well have come out of the lake and posed, but we would'nt have cared. Such were the anecdotes and discussions!







At around 8.45ish we started from Thol ( Tom had to leave a wee bit earlier) and then stopped for a small chai break which lasted for around an hour an half.

Post chai and after goodbye's and promises to meetup soon, we were back in aapnu Ahmedabad by 10.30 and home by 10.45.

Thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with all. Looking forward to pics from the other cams as well.

And apologies to those whose pics look hazy. They are. Was fiddling with manual settings on the cam and the pics looked suppak as thumbnails on the lcd.
