Hi! It seems to be shaping up really well.

I am Achint, 22 years old and working as an Analyst in Gurgaon/Noida. I love all machines, all cars, all bikes, all scooters etc. I love driving long distance and cleaning my bike every morning. Even though SUVs have always enamoured me, I am still an off-roading n00b.

Cheers

Much appreciated. So who's volunteering to wake up you first though?
Chaiwala on the way back sounds good. But, can we do it on the way to Thor before? I would like to wake up to a cutting chai - haven't done that since college days )

Hey,

its gonna be tough for all it seems to wake up early. Thought i was the only one facing that issue

I agree with you. Chai wala on back sounds good. But we don't wanna miss the THOL beauty by reaching late. So a quick stop somewhere along the route is doable I guess.

@Aditya, any update on other members joining in?

@ ramkya1
I guess route from Thaltej-Rancharda will be shorter one.
Yes, Taltej-Rancharda would be shorter, but easy to navigate for new comers would be Bopal-Sanskar Dham-NK.Protien one, smoother too, only a couple of rough culverts.

You guys have a nice time and take lots of photos.

So, I guess the final list is as below:

1. Harshal
2. Aditya
3. @tombum + 2
4. Rutvij,
5. bapu
6. hiren959
7. pankaj_sachdeva
8. devarshi84
9. EssYouWe
10. teknophobia
11. nisarg86
12. 9thsphinx
13. whistlingwoodz

A total of 15. Anyone one who wants to add their name to the list, please copy the list, add your name and paste it again.

Now, let's finalize the plan.

5.30 AM at Pakwan or Thaltej crossroads? We'll be carrying a few bottles of water. We might be able to get some snacks on the way (I hope so). Chai stop near Thol. There is a roadside kitli, where we usually stop. It's at an intersection just near Thol.

Devarshi/Harshal, pls take the lead and confirm the exact details.

5.30 AM at Honest Restaurant S.G. Highway. I am being exact here just to make sure nobody misses it. There is a car parking place where we can leave our vehicles.

Cars- Atombum, EssYouWe, AVR, Rutvij (if we are more than 13) (Harshal and devarshi84 available with replacement cars)

Maps- Devarshi84

Water- Somebody needs to bring home filtered water bottles.

We will leave 5-45 which gives us 15 minutes to gather. I hope everybody makes sure they are not late. We can have tea before our visit to the lake.

After departing from the lake we can enjoy ganthiyas and Jalebis at Oswal next to Rajpath club for breakfast if everyone is cool with it. I do not know of any other place around where we can enjoy hot snacks but suggestions are welcome.

I have stressed about warm clothes and footwear before.
