Next Tapri Meet - Pune

Its seems very few people are sure about going tomorrow for the drive meet.
Shall we plan for the next weekend then?

Yeah I am back after a long lull. Thanks to -
1. My New boss. I was training him for almost 2 months.
2. My Sis's marriage on 12th June. Missed the Pune- Mumbai mega meet.
3. A sudden change of the house as ex. owner got transfered back to Pune. Luckily got a house in the same society. Kunal Icon.

Now, ready with my attendence sheet.

Lets take a call (Roll call) for the next week i.e 10th June drive meet, if not for tomorrow.

Location: Kamshet/ Mulshi/ Bhor, Panshet, Thamini Ghat,
Date: 10th June, Funday.

I dont wanna miss this scenic trip, but not sure if i will be bringing my car and coming by bike in rains spells disaster

next weekend is a strict no-no for me. the kids have their tests starting 8th and announcing a drive meet with family in the middle of exams is like doing harakiri. count me out if its the next weekend

Maverick79: I would like to join the Pune meet this time, but cannot spare the whole day.
If its quick - breakfast etc early morning hours on Sunday - I will interested.

I think we need to freeze the place first. Having 5 options would take lot of time for finalizing on the place.

Well then, Lets check the options.
1. Panshet: Has good amount of joy rides and water sports. Ideal for family visit. Has some ghat section on the way.

Options 2, 3, 4,5 to be elaborated. I visted them very long ago. Almost some 7 years back.
Guys, pls pour in your suggestions as we need to finalize the location atleast by tomorrow EOD.

JD, Swanand, Sudarshan Saab.. etc where are you?

After upmteen postponements (if there is such a word), I am going to Neelkanteshwar this Saturday afternoon/ evening. If its a family drive/ meet, I am tentatively in for Sunday.

Ich bin zuruck.
And so is the car, after 3rd service and oil change. I saw a nice suggestions on previous page about drive via Warandha Ghat to Mahad and back via Tamhini. Is that still on? I'm game for that one.

Next weekend also looks fine for anything. Out if its the one after next though. Ferrari are fighting for wins at last and don't want to miss the Hockenheim GP.

Guys, I am not sure of the availability or dates for any of us. However, I found this place while I was looking for something else. It looks good for a day trip and is near Bhatghar dam (around 50km from Pune)

If it is good/ recommended, can we consider this as a destination for a day trip?

We can then discuss/ finalise the dates later.
