This is really a wonderful initiative Sudarshan.
I am game for it. It would be really great if we regularly do this get togethers.
I find Pune is mentioned in 'other cities' in the Location wise team BHP data. We need to change this and make a special identity for Pune along with other cities like Mumbai, Hyd, etc.
I know there are many Bhpian's and wannabees in Pune. It is in league with Chennai and Gurgaon when Automotive OEMs presence is concerned.

Amit, we have already done one meet there around 2-3 months back. I have been to Nikhil's cafe 2-3 times after the meet also. He is a nice and enthu guy and the place is also good. However, the place is small if the number is more than 7-8.

This sounds like a great idea, count me in for meets April onwards. Once in 3 weeks is fine for me. I will be staying in Bhusari Colony Kothrud for a few months till my flat is available (also in Kothrud)

Generally I and MX6, Anil, Naj go for photo meets. So planning the next photo meet. I am looking for some cars since mine is a wagon R.

Say a Punto,Polo,I20 and such. BMWs and Mercedes are added advantage.

And I am still in the learning stage of photography.

Generally when a group is there, ideas flow quick and solutions can be found out. last time, Anils Figo was the initial target. Figo was an addition in my portfolio. So looking for different cars to shoot. Every car and every landscape has its own story.

And now the clouds have returned.So this is an added advantage in shooting cars.

Can i propose a Lunch Meet on 27th Feb say 11.30 AM. I am ok with 20th as well but just wanted to provide adequate time for all the Puenkars to check the updates and respond. I can keep updating the thread with the confirmed names.

We can meet up at one place (Chandni Chowk, NDA Road just examples) and drive down together to the location for lunch. This i guess would give anvancy good photo shoot options as well.

Also request BHPians to suggest locations with adequate parking for the meet.
