I hear that Abhiruchi farms has re opened. They have most of these things on their menu. However, it may take longer and it is also out of the route by a bit. There should be other farms enroute who can prepare this, but I guess someone will need to visit and pay an advance.

Anyways. We shall discuss the 1st May plan with the group. But my thoughts - Would it not be crowded like crazy on a sunday in Mahabaleswar that too on 1st May in peak summer vacations? This is off topic but thought should mention it.

There are a couple of places enroute that serve the type of food AP mentioned. Good home style food. Problem being, it is VEG. What do we (pure Non Vegitarians) do? Places like Deshpande Farms, or one joint that is opp to the Lavasa road (cant remember the name now). They serve good VEG food.

EDIT: Amit, agree on the Mahbi being crowded on 1st May part. Lets discuss this further in the meet.

Oh yeah, 1 st may will be crowded,
but all weekends will be crowded at that place in summer and we get time on week ends only!!

Exactly my reaction AP, Deshpande serving veg food is just not done .

Actually, 6.30 is late.Summer is here, sun rises fast.So you have that much harsh light hitting you fast.

If you plan a photoshoot late morning,mostly barren hills and harsh light is what I will get.

6.30 is late I think i understand your point. But IMHO getting everybody (including me) meet at that time on a Sunday morning is itself going to be a big achievement

Hello,
With location finalized let us consider some points into perspective (I do understand most of you guys are pros and far more experienced and may find below points silly, but this is a moral responsibility for all of us)
1. We encourage all the bikers to wear helmets for their own safety, helmets for pillion riders is also recommended, you are free to go ahead with any additional safety gear you have (boots, chest n kidney protectors, knee/elbow guards etc)
For Cars, seat belt is recommended at all times though we will not be in city limits
2. Please ensure you get your car / bike checked before the trip (we will have some surprises as machines are not perfect but still some prevention is better)
3. let us maintain road manners and speed limits (We are team BHP'ians so we already have them-at least it is the assumption i am going with)
