first of all , play daily with the camera , you still have to know the machine .

Average tourist Quality , like say -been there sort of

try some different angles

spend relaxed time with the subject, observe think , cool down , check frames ( just viewing through )

frames look too common ,

See lots of photo mags & pics

No pun intended dude ! I'ld say a good start , but just as Sudarshan saab mentioned , DO spend time with the camera . Think a lot different than the regular frames .The focus / composition of the pic needs to be worked upon .

It's not the camera / lenses that does wonders , its the thought of the photographer that creates a blissful / crisp / composed image .

Take it light
PRO (anvancy) would be a great help ! Get tips from him and practise them .

@ Noopster (Anoop):Nice video mate of the rides . You should have turned the camera to the rear as well just for once I was right behind you

Well Sir , stupid me thinks its time for you to upgrade the gear .
IMHO , please pay attention to the focus (subject) . Also some work needs to be done on the handshakes (visible noise in the pics ) .

Bahwah , I was using an old roll type ,Yashika FX 3 till last sept ( 10) , can you believe that ? & you are talking about upgrade ? will take another 5 years I guess

Yashika - hearing the word after ages, maybe at least 15-20 years. Brought a smile on my face. Those were the days, to buy a SLR one had to tell an uncle from US or visit Nepal border or visit a chor bazaar near a port.

Where did the next meet organizer vanish (VISHAL) Thar 4*4. I hope you still have some plans going on . Its 17th today and we still don't have a probable place yet .

Vishal , where are you dude !! You have to take a call and start compiling the information from the previous pages (if you want that choc box) .

It's HIGH time , somebody take the lead and compile this time

EDIT: Just saw that Vishal (Thar 4*4) has received some infractions and has been banned for a month (his message on the FB page - Pune Chapter does say that). So now, someone else who wants the Choc box needs to get up and get going.

My Idea is that we can have a small drive ( 1 hr ) out of the city & have ample time to wander around & chats ( talks, not bhel-puri ) & lots of auto discussions (Informal of course ) & followed by a lunch .
