Lets push it to 2nd week of April. That would really work out well for me too. Nothing related to WC Finals, just something else on the personal front.

I have a new suggestion and am sure most of us would like this place . The speciality of this place , its an eco resort of sorts , we'll have opportunity for BBQ and the best , this place doesnt have any TV , so if we plan to do an over nighter then we'll get a lot of time for bonding and chit chat . Please take a moment to take a look at this .

This location seems to be really good. As you said it right, I think this location would be best enjoyed with overnight stays.

Can you comment on the food offered here? Veg, Non-veg or both? If there is no TV, then the Food has to be really good.

Sounds a good option , Sir Could you please check it with them on the pricing front as well alongwith the quality of food . Also if you could check the availability for the 2/3/9/10 of April for say around 25 odd folks .

JD , Sudarshan Sir , ajay : I havent been to this place . I was supposed to go there on the weekend when we actually went to Lavasa . Last time when I called those numbers for enquiry , none of the numbers were actually operational . Will have to find out another way of contacting these guys . And the best part is if we do finalize on this place , it would be a new place for everyone , not the regular lonavala and mahabi and plus we get barbecue , add to that some blasting music from ones car and we have a biiiig party .. stargazing , nature photography everything at one place .... should be fun

The resort is 5km just before Bhimashankar.
I stayed at that place two times.
You have to travel @1km off road.
There are nice cottages and a restaurant[ veg-nonveg, so so quality at that time].
The pricing is little higher side compared to facilities.

^^^ If this one involves Off-roading (even leveled roads with too many potholes / no pavement), them I'm out for sure. I'm a bit too obsessed about my new car and care for her like some Maybach owner would!

Also, this will be my 2nd missed meet in a row, if its planned on 16-17 April. I'm off to Goa inclusive of that weekend.

Dont worry , No off roading , there is a road to the resort , many people with cars visit .


& you are not alone , I also take care of my Landy ( more than my Lady ) & like a Maybach

Well, the destinations, seem to be finalised (?), however the dates are not yet finalised. Lets have a quick poll whether to have it in the first week of April or the second.

Im fine with the first weekend (Sunday) also, because, i just realised, the WC finals are on a Saturday (2nd April) and we are planning the drive on the 3rd April .

EDIT: The road conditions if fine, then we can take our individual cars as well. Indica. Landy or Skoda (we love our cars dont we!).
