Sorry guys for the slight delay in posting the snaps. Good meet and yummy cheese omelette. There were some dropouts at the last minute and also some unconfirmed attendance

I left a bit early but i think the group has made some plans for the drive meet. I think that would be posted soon.

Thanks for the pic amit...and yes seeing such wheels make me rethink whether "IS Sedan really right vehicle for me or should i buy an offroader"...But then my parents see such a vehicle and they ask only one question "How are we supposed to hop into such a monster??" and i have no answer
But yes i really enjoyed the short and sweet meet

Good to meet the folks, even for a short while.

While chatting, I had asked Swanand where he had parked his car, he had replied "tere car ke samne" (in front of your car). When I came back, I saw this.




Two really beautiful cars parked head to head. One with a classical big bonnet three box design, the other, a space age car forward with a free flow form. A rare sight indeed. Here is another shot.



Whenever we meet for a photo shoot we could try out some car combinations like this.

BTW it rained today- we could smell and feel it on Sus Road. Not sure where exactly, though. Monsoon meet in Lonavala is something I shall not miss!

Looks like some guys couldn't make it at the last moment! Any decisions taken regarding the Photo shoot?

The Laura and Civic Head to head make it really difficult to choose between them. Both are supremely beautiful cars!

Abhijit (Dot), what wonderful snaps! I absolutely loved both the cars head to head. They look real neat!

About the meet
The meet, albiet a short one, was wonderful. Not many had got camera's since this was going to be a short meet.
Breakfast, as usual was Yummmmm. Cheese Omlettes and Bun Maska with some tea! What a wonderful Sunday morning it was!
As is the norm, during this meet we did make plans for future ones.

Here are the details.

We plan to have our next drive meet in the first week of May (8th of May to be precise). We thought that 1st May being a public holiday, would make no sense whatsoever to go anywhere. There would be tons of vehicles all around. So unanimously it was decided for the 8th.

Now as usual we have 2 locations to short list.

1. Fort Jadhavgadh
2. Mulshi Backwaters

So now, subodh and I plan to do a recce to Jadhavgadh this Saturday and just check out the place.
Sudarshan plans to do the same with Muslhi backwaters.

We shall choose anyone of them. Since monsoons are not far away, we have left out Lonavala, Mahabi, Sinhagadh etc out. Those destinations can be done in the rains.

Now people, please start casting your votes. Please mention 1 choice. Anywhere is not on the list.

P.S: This will be a family meet. We are a peace loving nation, and this trip was made, keeping in mind the harmony in everyones household.

I feel embarrassed to even post here. But anyways, ...

Looks like it was a nice meet. Especially the food looked damn good. My favorite breakfast items of all time.

Sorry Swanand and others for not making it this time.

Henceforth, I prefer to watch it from distance and post only if I am 1000% sure that I can attend.
