We discussed this in the earlier posts and thought that let us meet for a Breakfast meet first to gauge the response . Future activities can then be discussed in the meet. I am also all game for a drive in the future.

Guys residing in other areas? Maverick? Do suggest good breakfast places in your areas too if this one doesn't interest you. Only constraint is a safe parking, where logos don't get stolen . (I'm not at much risk, "T" logos aren't much in demand...)

Also, i understand that most of us live in or around Kotrhud. However, do keep in mind those members who would have to drive from say Vishrantwadi or Vimannagar or thereabouts. Just saying.

Hey guys, i am new to Pune, so not sure where this Hotel Sheetal comes. I live in Pimple Saudagar, so don't get into city also too often. Tried a google search, but could not find the exact place. Is it in one of the bylanes of Karve road ?

Hey Tarun, no its bang ON Karve Road.
When coming from Deccan towards Kothrud, there is a Y fork. Left goes towards Warje, right goes towards Kothrud Depot / Shivaji Putala / Paud Road. The hotel is right at this Y fork. You need not take the left / right routes at all.

Deccan Gymkhana -> Karve road -> Nal Stop -> Ignore the SNDT Flyover and take left at Dashabhuja Ganpati (Under the pedestrian bridge) -> Karishma/McDonalds -> Karve Putala Y Fork. I think about 4-5 kms from Deccan.

Punekars, for the sake of non-Kothrud residents, why dont we gather at a central location?

I agree majority are in Kothrud and Sheetal is ideal, but driving on near-empty roads at 8 am on Sunday morning is pleasure. So, we can meet on SB Road, or Law College Road, or Deccan or whichever is convenient to all.

In that case, I guess, even I am safe. Logos of the Laura already stolen. Now the only thing that can be stolen is the front grill.

Anyways, back to the place discussion. Law College Rd, Senapati Bapat Rd are also do-able. Driving on empty roads is a pleasure most of us would relish.
