I'm Planning to join you guys. Please keep this as tentative.
Is this just a drive or an overnighter.
I've never been in this route. Guess, it would be awesome.

Overnighter, would actually depend on the number of confirmed people. If the count is more, we would not be able to do an overnighter (No place can accmmodate all of us!).

@Mikon: Even i am not sure of the total distance, however the drive is scenic to say the least!

@Selfdrive: Bala, no problems at all if Mahabi is dropped. I had something else in mind, when i suggested Mahabi. Nonetheless, some other time.

The 25th weekend looks impossible for me.

My cousin's getting married on the 26th. I'll be in Mumbai from the 25th.


If there's anything before this weekend or after, I'm definitely in.


BTW the route: Pune - Bhor ghat - Mahad - Mangaon - Tamhini - Mulshi - Pune; is a nice drive & will take around 1 entire day (also depending on the duration of stops taken at each point)

I just drove to bhimashankar today in the morning and boy oh boy was the scene breath taking . After manchar we had clouds all over the road and as we reached close to bhimashankar it was zero visibility , it was scary and breathtaking and it was raining like crazy , guess you guys will see same weather in mahabi !

I landed up missing the 11th Mega meet & would be keen to join this drive. Count me in tentatively with my better half for this plan.

hello guys, can we all meet up at midnight today at chandani chowk to check out the lunar eclipse? Should be fun, we can just drive towards NDA road and click a few pics, we can call it "Lunar Eclipse Meet" what say?

Edit: We have quite a population in and around Kothrud, at least we all can meet!

In any case, am still recovering from a nasty stomach bug so count me out. WOuld have loved to join otherwise...

Eclipse starts at 2353 hrs and goes on until 0200 hrs.
