Thanks for the leads to Railway Grounds. I am returning from to chennai that morning and I am not sure if morning would be convenient (but it depends on what time of the morning is planned). Surely early mornings will be inconvenient. Let us vote for the best time and take the most convenient time. If I cannot make it this time, we will try for the next time.

Still looking for leads to enter the ground from Velachery Main road or Bharatha Mata St. (I am used to going thru Bharatha Matha St. when I need to reach Airport of other Northern stretch of GST.

I have attached a picture. Yellow lines mark your way to the ground from station by walk as well as from Velechery main road.

OK then guys, since most of the preference has been with the morning time, why not stick to something in the area of 9 am in the morning. ( Do let me know if the meeting has to happen in the evening)
We guys can meet up chat for sometime and then push off before the noon is too hot to handle, but anyway I have seen there are lots of trees so heat should not be an issue.

I hope one can drive in a car too. I have seen good roads opposite to the Vinayaga temple on the road to the railway station, going in between the Rly. Quarters. Correct me if I am wrong. I hope we can see our rides too. I am really interested in listening to some good ICE with your expert views on what is what and what is not.

My car is a basic one. So to clarify, not much to expect from me he he

I dont think there is any near the ground. Few kms down the velechery road there is a Cafe coffee day
