It was a wonderful meet. Thanks to everyone who were there and a special note of appreciation to Mr.Xingamazon for arranging this meet.

What a Morning it has been it was really great meeting you guys.

Making 11 like minded friends on a single day is such a feat to remember..
Thanks to TBHP firstly for making it happen.
In fact have some news here, JEHU joined us lately around 11 30, after most of them left. And we were talking on till 2 pm, only now I reached home. I really enjoyed every moment of it. For some reason VW2010 did not make it.

Thanks XingAmazon for this thread. 30th Nov, 2010 to 6th Feb, 2011, It was wonderful to have this meet in approx 66 days, I never thought it would be such a great experience (as this was my 1st TBHP meet).

Once again it was a lovely company of all those who joined and missed everyone who could not make it.

JEHU, it was great to have you there, but many who left early missed his presence.

All in all a good first step, let us plan something in the next 6 months.

It was nice to meet so many new TBHP friends, except Hari (EGT) whom I already knew. Pity I could not bring my car inside. I tried to enter through the perpendicular road from the Velachery road, but the platform was nearly three feet higher than the road! I did not know about the road from the station entry.

Pity I had to leave earlier than everyone. I received a short and crisp call from the home dept, the essence of which was "when will you come,bathe and gulp your food? Do you think we have no other work?" I had left for Adyar at 6.00 AM in the morning and came straight to the meet.

It was an excellent and exciting meet we had at the railway grounds, Tambaram. Was great to see many Team Bhpians and wonderful to meet all of you. I really enjoyed every moment of it and as discussed, we should plan for a longer drive trip together soon and it should be possible.

Thanks to Xingamazon for taking the initiative and organising this and thanks to everybody who came in.

I will PM my mobile number to Xingamazon for him to circulate the same collectively amongst others so that we could keep in touch more.

Wow, guys it was a great meeting. SO lucky to catch up with half the team even though I was late by 2 hours. The Xingamazon handle name's reason and turning our SANTRO Xing expectations into a new discovery across the Amazon. It was sweet to see us all bud adieu only to converge for another round of car discussions-it happened so thrice. I thought NFS would be there driving his 4X4 and Xing would drive his Santro. Peter's Palio was a head turner and surely too good to be a eight year old vehicle.The discussions on mods, speed, routes, bikes, ICE, service centers, accidents etc were all real time than the usual web thread discussion way.Hope to converge often.

We will meet somewhere next week and you can collect the sticker of your choice .

Regarding the meet: Being the 1st timer,Did not have much information(read lack of knowledge) to share, But was keenly listening to all sorts of topics discussed.
I know i will make some new friends,but never imagined that i will make 2 new friends within my office campus.

@swami69: Thanks for the T-BHP sticker!! I am giving my car for service tomorrow and the first thing I do once my car is back from service is to paste the sticker!!

And guys, I had been on a drive to Kadalur yesterday in my Alto and came back just some half-an-hour back. It was a fantastic drive except for two things
1. I felt the steering to be hard yesterday night and today morning found the front-left tyre punctured. Took almost 30-45mins to get things sorted out.

2. Started from Kadalur and took a wrong turn and in all the talk we didn't realize that we were proceeding towards Banrooti (not sure of the exact spelling). Checked up with some locals after covering 17kms and sadly got to know that we have to come all the way back to Kadalur to go towards Pondy

Me and my wife were thinking of driving back to Chennai today morning and get back to work at least by noon. But these two things made sure that we cannot go to office today. And so, happily went to Vedanthangal on the way back home!

@JEHU: Thanks for the info about getscar.com. However we didn't use it as my friends thought going by two cars (2 Alto) is cheaper option (and yeah, actually it was cheaper) than to get Xylo for 3.5K and pay for fuel. And, we will meet in the next meet for sure.

Oh guys, I am doing a work-from-home. And you could judge my w-f-h with the length of this post! Cyaa!
