Guys, please excuse me from this meet as I would not be able to bring my vehicle out of my house for the next 15 days. Department people have laid a cement road in front of my house and all vehicles are barred from plying on it because of water curing/process etc.

Was trying to come along with Sai, however he has some medical emergency in his family and he also cannot come.

I can empathize. This was the exact reason why I had to miss the Bidar drive meet last year. Of course, Arcot kindly offered a hitchhike in Yellow Belly but I had already made other plans by the time he called.

Same place ( City Grand) and same time. Didnt go after that via. TBHP but, went separately.

@Waseem, sorry to know the emergency. Hope its not too serious.

As numbers have dropped drastically. We will still go ahead with this drive meet but, I think we should drop the long drive plan and stick to a drive somewhere closer

Dhaba at Bhongir or a nice drive to Shamirpet then a sumptous lunch at a dhaba in that route

Whatever the new plan, we will decide once we meet. Do note the change in timing

These were the folks who finally enjoyed the drive meet.

I was pretty much reluctant and hesitant to go for this meet as most people had dropped off at the last minute but, i dragged myself to meeting point at 10:00AM and was pleasantly surprised to see 3 cars already waiting there (Sabby, Ravvs, Rider60)

We were joined by 3 more cars ( Puzz, Srimath and other common friend of Sabby and Srimath--Sorry, didnt catch his name) along with their spouses.

We started from the meeting point at roughly little before 11am and stopped at Riveria at Bhongir for a quick tea break. Roads until here were nightmarish with lots of diversions.

Post Yadirigutta, the roads transformed to truly beautiful with sparse traffic. Entire stretch, me and ravvs enjoyed a cat and mouse game until we reached Hotel City Grand in Warangal at 1:30pm. Last 100kms was done in just over an hour

I enjoyed one of the best lunches in a long time. Gongura Mutton lived up to the hype and was simply outstanding. But, what i liked better was the Kakatiya Mutton Fry. It was so flavoursome, extremely spicy that it made our hair on our spine stand up. Absolutely loved this dish and i am going back only for these two dishes.

After a relaxed lunch over some lively conversation including sharing of several anecdotes, we dragged our satiated self's from the restuarant at 5:15pm. Ravvs decided to leave an hour early as he had some other comittment. We bid goodbyes and decided to keep our own pace. Getting out of Warangal was a pain with terrible traffic till the outskirts.

Soon enough, I left the team behind and galloped towards Hyderabad only to meet one of the most damning traffic jams in my life just before the uppal crossroad. You wont beileve it, it took me over an hour to cover 3-4 kms and finally reached home at 8:30pm completely sapped!

Overall, the meet was surprisingly good fun despite the less numbers ( 7 cars, 12 people) which we arent so used to. However, the spoilsport was the heavy traffic right from warangal to hyderabad and that one last jam before entering the city.

Nice fun guys !!! Now whoever took the pictures, please post 'em as I wasnt carrying my camera.
