And Steeroid, you are perfectly right. From the old meet we had, I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Ram and he is so very knowledgeable. Of course we had Milinda who had done trans-country trips on his Harley Davidson. And incidentally, both these people have an RD-350 back at home. It would be infotaining to have such petrol-heads amongst us as yourself Steeroid. Kindly make it when such a trip is planned next

It was an amazing meet with lot of talks, amazing convoy and some good food. That was a perfect meet I guess.

Even in that 5 hour long chat, all I could click were these limited pic. And these pics were taken at 2 in the morning.


Hopefully we will be driving off to Kalba in May. We have time now to discuss and finalize the dates.

I am looking at the 1st May or 8th May for the drive. I think Kalba will be fun, plus we have experienced people who are thorough with the route.

So I would like to request everyone to start updating this thread so that we don't miss out no one this time.

Thinking of a mini meet tomorrow, Thursday (23-Apr-2015). This was a quick plan hence didn't update earlier.

Venue : Jebel Ali Kart zone (as we call it) 24.982804, 55.020434
Time : 8:30 pm


This will most probably follow a short weekend drive on Friday. We can decide the venue tomorrow when we meet at the Kart place.

Inbox me your numbers if you happen to see this post before 6:00 pm or just arrive to the venue. There are at least 4 members ready to attend.

Please be on time if you guys plan on having a go at the kart I have booked for some slots in advance.

Meeting Time:- 6 AM
Meeting Location:- EPPCO Petrol Pump on Al Awir road before Dragon Mart (Google maps co-ordinates 25.176710, 55.410388 )
Description:- The plan is to meet at the petrol pump and head to Kalba for a drive followed by breakfast at either Fujairah or Kalba itself. We should return back by noon.
