Compliments to mjothi for organizing this meet. Awesome location, can spend an entire day if we can pack food or take a cook along and get piping hot food made right there by the lakeside.

Mahesh is it possible to update the excel sheet with the names/ pics of the bhpians / rides who showed up?

One good thing i see by such drives is to be along with like minded people travel a while and chat up. SO much better than spening a weekend at the mall eating or watching some stupid movie.

I saw the trip preparation thread just on 28th, and was not able to make it. I would definitely like to be part of the next Bangalore TBHP trip/meet.

Its a very nice scenic location. But, from the pics, I felt some stretches of village roads are not that good. Nonetheless, worth the drive to see this beautiful lake.

If you take the direction mentioned in the posts, [left when you see the Arch], the bad patch is hardly 2-3 KMs I think.

But we had all types of car and had no issues as far I know.
