if u go via the boring Nh4 ...hubli is about 450 kms from bengalooru ...and from there nh63 to ankola starts ...but to yenjaay your drive you should go via mengalooru ...on the superb nh48 ...mengalooru is 360 kms ...and then ankola is about 270 from mengalooru on the ...and thyen the ankola road starts ....

iam new to this group...n new to mumbai too...just got transferred...sorry i dont have a car...but can i travel as a passenger with u on the trip? as far as the expenditure is concerned iam ready to share the fuel n food expenses.

I am new to team bhp and would love to meet all u great guys.I m in the merchant navy ans supposed to join back by the end of the month.If i am here i am definitely coming for this meet and will get my Skoda too.Will keep in touch for further updates.Oh and any place is fine as long as the road is good.

Lonavala is surely out for me - if people are sceptical abt daman and dahanu - we could do Alibag / Kihim .......just thinking....wat say ?

i had jiRAAD in mind, its a place around alibaug, and i know of this damn good place that serves typical alibaug food. its called bhingare s if anyone s heard of it. its around 100 kms one way and we don't hit the bad roads that lead to alibaug.

thanx a lot for the invitation yaar...iam gopi a marine engineer with merchant navy...but iam not into sailing now due to my knee surgery...i work in a shipping company as a service engineer for japanese ship engine..my office is in vashi and i stay in kharghar...dippy add me in the list too man ...marinegopi-passenger!!
