Much powerful and an overall better machine!

But you'll need a converter rated at 900W to run it!

UK alternative to that is Kestrel DAS-6 Pro power plus(same specs as Griot's polisher) but doesn't need any converter as such!

Count me in too, if you're getting these!
Sohail, I am seriously considering the import of a DA. I will get back to you with details. I will need someone to provide his/her shipping address as if I get it delivered to me at Shillong directly, it will never arrive. :(

Shopyourworld can get you stuff from UK.

Or you can try Aramex shop&ship to get it shipped from UK to India.

Sohail, can you also please list a few of the "essential" Meguair's detailing products? Specifically, a wash, a wax, a sealant and a swirl remover?

Wash - Meguiars gold class car wash
Wax - Collinite 845 or 915
Sealant - You can use 845 as a sealant too!
Swirl remover - Meguiars M205 and M105(gives best results with a DA polisher)

Sumit B:
Wax and Sealant- Meguiars NXT Tech wax is very competent and i feel has an edge over the others. That said, sealants like wolfgang, Optimum Opti Seal, Blackfire are very easy to apply by hand and can be applied and topped up with wax
Swirl Remover- Menzerna products are also great( power finish is best), but use least cut - use Meguiars Ultimate Compound first and if not go for higher cut.

Aramex charges to open an account with them. Is it right ? Also any idea how they are going to take care of the customs ?
In SYW, upto Rs.10000 you can get it as gift, no custom duty.

You can try anything man!

Each and every combo can either really pop the color of the car or doesn't make much of a difference. You have to try it to see it.

I haven't tried anything Klasse, so cant exactly say!

I've tried so many sealants and waxes and still I cant point out, which one is best!

After all these product trials, I prefer to use the ones which are more user friendly. And there are much, much user friendly and time saving products out there!!

Team,

Just thought Id share a few pics of my new SX4 Diesel coated with Collinite 845 , the entire process was very pleasing and not dusty at all as compared to previous wax polishes that I had used .

The touch and feel is ultra smooth... hope it lasts long enough.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

^Nice!

Just wax it once in 2 weeks and maintain with a qd and your car will always have protection over it!

Black is one color that will look jaw dropping if maintained perfectly!! But its the color that shows even the slightest imperfection!

Try and preserve it!! Factory paint is the best you can get in India!! No bodyshop in all of india can even come close to giving you what the factory does, in terms of paint finish!

Turtle Scratch and Swirl Remover! So far I've got the best results with it. There are still a few scratch marks, its not a miracle worker and I've been told Megs stuff is better but haven't yet tried it.

Usually with Swirl remover the finish only lasts a week so I topped it off with Collinite 915 wax. There was not much difference to the shine with wax but I hope it preserves it longer.

All applied by hand

Klasse AIO is THE best product i feel in many ways in the market. Its awesome and can be used for so many places and has been used for years now. The sealant is great, but you need to read instructions well and remove it fast else its a pain to rub off. Its a very good combo indeed.
