TW scratch and swirl remover is rubbing compound. I would not recommend using this everytime.
Stick to the 915, apply a second coat after 12 hours to get a deeper shine. If you don't use any shampoo or detergent to clean your car this will last 2-3 months.
It mentions clear coat safe on the bottle? I don't think its as abrasive as the 3m rubbing compound I have.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

I've never encountered anything more abrasive than 3M compound, with the exception of 1500-2000 grit sandpapers! lol

Its a true compound that you have to follow up with a polish and cant just leave it like that!

btw great reflection shot! Every scratch and swirl remover has to be followed by waxing or sealing to seal in the results that you just obtained!

Every product claiming to correct the paint and seal it at the same time, doesn't offer much protection.

@SumitB - Can we club orders together or something?

@archat68,
Thanks a ton for all the info and sorry for lot of questions. How do you pay for the shipping and customs. Did not see any more info in their website.

@sohail,
what is your opinion about the differences in DAS 6 and DAS 6 pro. Pro is around 30 pounds extra. How VFM it would comparing with DAS 6 and DAS 6 pro.

They collect it by cash when delivering the item at your home.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Main difference is motor power

DAS-6 has a 500W motor, so its capable of running 5.5 inch pads. It might get bogged down by pressure, a lil' too much to be able to correct in case you're looking to correct some serious defects. DAS-6 is good for a weekend warrior though! Its like a UK version of PCXP

DAS-6 Pro has a 850W motor which is capable of running bigger pads 6.5" and also capable of some serious correction under pressure! You'll get results faster when coupled with proper technique, the right polish and the right pad.

Its like the UK version of Griots garage ROP.

I think we should club it. However, we will have to get it delivered to your place in Delhi and I can collect it from you when I am there next month or 1st week of June. I don't want to take a chance of getting it shipped to me directly as no international order has reached me in 5 years :(. Let me know if its okay. This way, I can take a look at your prized possession also.

If 4 members get together for the Kestrel DAS-6 Pro, we can get it from this seller who is offering the unit for £95.96 if 4+ units are bought together. However, this does not come with any free pads.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

@sudipta: As of now, nothing is fixed but if we order, we have to get it delivered to one of the metros. If we get it delivered to someone in Delhi, I can pick up one unit from there personally when I am in Delhi in May or June 1st week. However, I am open to the option of the unit having to be couriered to me from any city/town in India and am willing to pay extra towards the courier charges.

Re: Kestrel DAS 6 Pro

I am OK if it is shipped to Delhi and I can ask someone to pick it up. I have someone coming from Gurgaon during first week of May and he can get it for me.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

If we can get one more buyer, we can get it cheaper!

I'm currently in the process of selling my phone, to get a total 11k for the polisher lol!

I can ship it to you if you want(if its directed here) or you can come over!
My i20 is not in a perfect condition as of now, I can hardly find time for her now that I have been posted in casualty! :(

Am looking to change that in the future.

re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

So we have 4 prospective buyers. Now who will take the initiative to order and get it shipped? I only have a debit card/netbanking account and no credit card. If it can be done using a Debit Card, I am willing to get it ordered. Else, someone with a CC has to do it.
