Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

I have been using ONR WW 1:24 in a spray bottle as QD which I had brought from Sanjay of BB Impex around 5 months back. I have run out of stock 15 days back and have been using Meguiars quik detailer since. OPT's new distributor in India, Eco Carcare has run out of ONR WW stock and I need to buy another QD till they get new stock.

What would you recommend? Would prefer online ordering with delivery in Noida.

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Hi,

I want to buy Meguiars Hyper wash. I am located in Patiala cant seem to find it locally. Online, I could only get it at vicky.in, who is charging 800 bucks only for shipping. Is there any other place where I can get it? Online?

Just a heads up. This is just a pre wash which has little grime lifting ability. It is effective only on fresh grime(1 week old kinds). This wont remove stubborn dirt. For stubborn dirt you will need a proper car shampoo like the sonax gloss shampoo or megs NXT wash

You can use it sir before detailing. My point was regarding the dirt removing ability of this shampoo. If your car is lightly soiled then you can go ahead and use it. I would suggest the foam to dwell and then do a car wash using the same shampoo in bucket and a wash mitt. Agitation will help remove the grime after the foam has stayed for a couple of mins

Re: A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide

Hm.. What I am planning to do is, get my car detailed and paint sealed. Then use the Hyperwash with a pressure washer. But, as you said, I am into construction and my black Fortuner tends to get a lot of dust on daily basis. Its just like a thin layer of very fine dust particles. Now I am confused.

Dont get confused sir.Thin layer of dust will be easily handled. Just follow up the foam with agitation with wash mitt when the foam is still on the car. Check the below video and follow similar procedure. You should be fine.

Oh boy you're so wrong. Hyperwash is one of the strongest and most effective shampoos available on the market. If you deviate from recommended ratios, it will strip away even the best sealant and damage coatings. There is a reason why it is mentioned :

Below is the tar on my car.

After washing with a normal dilution of Hyperwash. Not even stronger ratio

Hm ! Thats what I thought. Theres a reason I guess for some products to come in larger Quantities. Just Meant for Detailers to clean every possible contaminants. But anyways, it recommended for daily/routine use?

Hyperwash isn't meant for daily use.

You can have a look at Jopasu Duster and ONR waterless wash methods for daily maintenence and do a full car wash once in 2 weeks or so

A superb Car cleaning, polishing & detailing guide-img_1724.jpg tHIS IS what I was talking about. I mean I am more concerned on removing this sort of dust film.
