Different companies have different colors for different grades of pads. As you have not mentioned the company it's a bit difficult to comment, but what you have should be more than enough if you ask me.

I invested in Lake country CCA pads when I bought by DA polisher and bought a bunch of them together.

What I use now is:
LC CCA yellow pad for heavy scratches which require compounding,
LC CCA orange pad for swirl removers,
LC CCA Green pad for AIO / cleaner waxes,
LC CCA black pad for glazes (the only one I use is poorboy's black hole - which is great at hiding micro blemishes you don't want to sweat out removing).

I had a couple of white pads for applying waxes but they are gone so I normally apply waxes / sealants by hand now. I have a few microfiber bonnets that go on top of the pads for easy buffing of waxes.

I had a couple of each color I mentioned above, but most have disintegrated along the way with usage and I have not bothered to restock, instead making do with what I have. Guess I shall again buy a fresh bunch once all of these disintegrate. For a weekend warrior whose frequency in pampering rides is becoming lesser, the ones I have remaining should last for some more time.

I also have a purple wool pad, but can't remember using it !

Good snow foam recommendations please.
I am currently using 3M Car shampoo both as a car shampoo and snow foam(in my MJJC Foam Cannon) because of it's price to performance but would like to consider some alternatives.

What is your purpose of using Citrus Wash and Gloss? Do you need it to strip your wax regularly or do you have that much dirt accumulation.

Sonax Gloss Concentrate is really good. If you want a brilliant maintenance shampoo go with Gyeon Bathe or Bathe + depending on whether your car is ceramic coated.
Or if budget is a concern go with Meguiars NXT wash. Doesn't have much suds but does a very good job.

For the love of cars, I have always maintained ours with loads of love and affection. I am the kind of guy who doesn't like even a pinch of grime inside the car. For that matter I don't allow anyone not even my wife to eat inside the car because it leaves left overs and foul smell inside the cabin. I have pampered my 4 years old elite 1 20 with lots of grooming products. Recently while discussing an interior cleaning package with one of the manager at a local sonax car washing center. Came across a fantastic product from sonax all in one cleaner "Sx multistar universal cleaner"
Used it today on my beige coloured interiors and seat covers. The results are astonishing. It worked like a charm and also removed the salt deposits on the car exteriors. Very happy with the product. I have attached some of the pictures of my seat covers. The product costed me 740 rs but I have saved more than that for sure. ��

Hello. I have been into DIY detailing for atleast 3 years now but cant find a solution to this problem. The problem is that even after washing the car twice and claying the paint when i start to apply wax, the pad gets dirty within the first 2 panels like this



You can see the blackish stuff on the upper right side of the foam pad.

This is the process i follow:

Rinse>Wash>Rinse>Clay>Wash>Rinse>Dry

I am using Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo and Chemical Guys Mr. Pink, Ultima Elastrofoam as clay and Proklear Rinseless wash as clay lube. I usually wash the car late in the night and after the second wash i immediately cover the car with 3-4 bedsheets and apply wax early next morning.

Any pointers?

I think the above point might be the cause. Try applying wax as soon as possible and see whether it occurs.

Accumulated fine dust? What's the car model - is it old (so old that it has single stage paint?)
