Mahindra Verito - Technical Specifications & Feature List

Team-BHP will now be uploading the full feature list and technical specifications of each car sold in India. This information isn't readily available; even manufacturer websites sometimes don't present all the data (intentionally), while the fancy formats they use make for poor readability. Then, we have some manufacturers who tend to confuse you by listing a glovebox as a feature!! Lastly, the official websites don't follow any standard display order as such, which can make comparisons across cars very difficult.

Team-BHP will follow a standard, easy-to-refer-to format across all Indian cars. With time, this data will be transferred to an interactive website section.

A very good initiative. Some items that seem to be missing-
Gear Ratios
Approach, Departure and Breakover Angles
Articulation
Axle Types
Differential Locking Arrangement

I know, some of these are only published for SUV's, but if we are having a generic template, then we should include these as well...

Thanks for putting this up.

Boy, is this car poor in its equipment list or what!

No wonder it became so popular as a taxi.

Aren't these highly technical terms; not something every member would know/want to know.

These sheets are more like a T-BHP brochure for diff. cars, giving out precise info about their technical specs and features.

They are simple, they are nicer this way!

I'd tend to agree with your point of view for these-

Approach, Departure and Breakover Angles
Articulation
Axle Types
Differential Locking Arrangement
However, Gear Ratios, I believe is very pertinent for consumers to make an informed decision, to understand how well the car performs in heavy city traffic, or in quick over-taking situations on our highways. The torque and BHP figures, in isolation, do not have much meaning there...

Good idea and initiative.

(1) No variant of Mahindra Verito has airbagS. Just an airbag in the top end variant is there. I guess, the number of airbags could be specified to avoid confusion.

(2) The CD player in the top end variant is a single DIN extremely hopeless and basic system with neither Aux nor USB.

I am not sure whether it is very relevant or not, but the number of rear headrests could be listed as well? E.g. Verito is perhaps the only car in its segment which has 3 rear headrests. I sat in the middle rear seat and was surprised how comfortable it was compared to say the middle rear seat in the Manza ( the centre armrest support was as rigid as it could get)

D6 has alloy wheels as well, I think. Could you correct the data point?

@hyd traveller - The number of airbags in the car would be a useful data point. D6 has airbag only on the drivers side. G4 has none.

None of the variants of Verito have alloys though all of them have tubeless tyres.

Went through the brochure and spoke to the dealer. You are right. No alloy wheels in any variants. Apologies for the confusion.:sorry:
