Edmund, I'll get the headlights for you, lemme know when. Right now i'm at Trivandrum, will be back in bangy next week.

The autocop costed me around 5k. It's the basic system, alarm goes off if someone tries to open the door/hood or tries start the vehicle when system is armed.

dude, is the garage by any chance located in kondhwa?? And BTW, we MUST meet once your car is restored....lookin forward to it!!!

hey have u finished with the engine rebuild ...what piston and rings did u put in them....std with sleeves or oversize ones

Standard pistons are the way to go during restoration for the utmost Reliability.

Oversized ones are prone to leakages, etc...So, a definite no-no unless u're the experimenting scientist.

The paintshop!!

Back from my goan holiday........ the car is at the paint guy's place, it has been sanded down, i think we're running a little behind schedule but the owner of the garage assures me that he'll have the car rolling by the first week of march.....................
The colour is the Nissan Skyline GTR Blue from the DuPont catalogue for Nissan!!!!
It's called Blue PM Effect [Formula: P6755]
Pictures as soon as i get some time off work!!!

Insurance!

One big question guys........ what insurance should i consider when the car hits the road?
Right now im with New India Assurance Co, Third Party!!!

Convert the third party insurance to a comprehensive one.

Check the insurance review section on our forum.

Am taking the day off from work tomorrow to sort out some stuff, will see if i can get a few pics of my car in the paintshop!

Although it is not ready for paint as yet, the primer is yet to go on!!!
