Re: Bought an 11 month old *NEW* Chevy Beat. Anything to look out for?

Looks like you've been really lucky. Congratulations!

In all probability, you were handed a TD vehicle. Anywho, all's well that ends well.

Do complete PDI thoroughly now!

Just my opinion but you might want to have this incident recorded in writing from the dealer; might help in the future.

the car i got before was taken back and seems will be used for test drive at one of the showrooms!!!(dont know truth about it)
and weirdly, they gave me extra free accessories (guess they dint want me to point the truth to other beat owners from the dealership)

all this was done by complains to GM helpline, dealership managers and GM state complaint cell..and did have to pay for TP registration twice!!

will be putting the accessories and getting the permanent registration tomorrow.
This is great news and you have been lucky and GM has been good too.
This will help you build good confidence in GM.
What is TP registration? Is it temporary registration and how much does it cost?
As long as you don't pay road tax which is much more than registration, it is OK.

wow this sure puts a feather in the cap for GM, now a lot more manufacturers need to learn from this and not fleece customers so casually.

Way to go, at least now you can enjoy the car with complete peace of mind
