Which petrol for Omni Bharat II ?

Which is the most suitable petrol for Omni Bharat II taking into consideration both fuel efficiency and engine life ?

I've heard that MPFI Bharat II vehicles needs petrol with an octane rating of 91. Since IOC Xtra Premium is a 91 octane fuel, should I go for it ?

And the IOC Xtra Premium now comes with Frictional Busters which reduces friction between the piston and the cylinder walls of the engine. Is there any truth in this statement or is it just a marketing gimmick ?

On my Pulsar 150 I'm getting a mileage of 65 KMPL on HP Power and it's performance is pretty good. So should I stick to unleaded 87 octane petrols (with additives) like BP Speed/HP Power for Omni Bharat II?

Please read your owners' manual and go by what it says.
My Indica is an MPFI Bharat II vehicle and the manual recommends a minimum octane rating of 87.

Huh?! :-/ Ru sure about that? Then what remains of the XtraPremium which shouts from the roof tops about their USP being it is a 91 octane rating petrol? I thought the rest are all 87!

After BS-3, minimum octane rating of petrol sold should be 91.
I'm pretty sure.

Bharat II cars don't require 91 octane fuel they require 87 octane fuel. Bharat III cars require 91 octane
So go for 87 octane fuel eyes closed no worries.
As for petrol with additives, if you fill up your car from reputed pump there won't be any need. But you can do occasional top up with fuel+additives

Here in Cochin, Bharat III norms have not been implemented yet. And the minimum octane rating of petrol available through the outlets are still 87. And almost all the pumps are managed by morons and public are kept in the dark in the case of premium fuels.

Off Topic : Is there any Anti-Adulterants present in the premium petrols to identify (with the help of a colour change) whether it is adulterated ?

No big deal, mithun.
Omni's engine isn't that sensitive to fuel, and go to the best fuel pump in Cochin. They must really be pure for sure.

If u have problems with fuel, Use speed or power. Or u can also use systemG along with normal fuel.

Omni's manual recommends to use Unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 87.

But I'm confused since most of the people advocates the use of 91 octane petrol for Bharat II vehicles.
