For Steering heaviness.. check out the front tire threading wear out and the wheel balancing.. this should clear the problem.

Friends,
I have medium/mild vibrations on steering wheel at idle rpm (800rpm).
Mine if Fiat MJD 75 BHP. Normally, it feels just engine running.
But the vibrations are little more and visually I see horn pad/steering wheel border trembles lightly. Is this normal?
OR Am I over-sensitive. Not sure

Check engine and gear box mountings - with engine off, try to shake the engine by hand. If it shakes a lot, mountings have gone soft.

Mild steering vibration is an 'inherent feature' in punto. It has been there in my Punto since day one.

In case you are feeling irregular vibrations then get the engine mounts check.

Also get the condenser cleaned by pressure wash as the radiator fan movement also causes the steering to vibrate.
