the same force that is pushing the car outwards,the same one as mentioned you face on a merry go round,will act on everything else that is taking the same path in the car.

the car would rush off in a tangent if the wall aint there.
but since the wall is present,the car is basically changing direction constantly into a direction where it wasnt going before,hence ,acceleration.

just a more extreme version of when you take a flat corner too fast,and everything slides outwards.
bank the corner higher and higher,till its perpendicular,and keep enough velocity,voila..."maut ka corner"
