Hi Harsh87,

Sadly, most enthusiasm to participate in FSAE from India gets dampened by lack of funds it seems. However, you guys are getting a chance to do, hands-on, what most of the people in this forum would love to have or have had the chance to do. Enjoy whatever you get out of it as it truly is worth it in more ways than you can imagine.

Also, your video of the car on the streets!!! awesome...i dream of the day!! I tell ported_head who is also working ?(funding issues) on a FSAE car, that when he gets that first drive on bombay streets, it will be unbelievable...
It seemed like this was one of your first driving tests judging by the fact that you guys were not pushing the car at all...(hope to see that in the next vid )

Heres a vid of me driving the car for the 2nd time - FSAE (10mb) i spin out near the end of the vid after the guys tell me to take it easy

Keep us updated, and goodluck for the next competition.

nice video rehaan
which college are or were you in
video I posted is of the car running on our campus roads
the rear suspension is totally out of alignment and there is too much bump steer and we are still on iko rod ends and can't put them under stress as we'd probably end up breaking them again
we are importing aurora rod ends (alloy steel) this time

Nitrous,

The rules require a 2" minimum between the top of the helmet for the tallest driver and a straight line drawn between the hoops.

why is the ride height so much? Also part of the regs?? if not a lower ride height will get you far better stability

Roll center migration was posing a problem while designing suspension geometry.
Also 13" aura rims are needed to be worked out.

Lovely - congrats. Can we come over for a spin sometime, at a teambhp meet?

Curious if somoene could share, ideally in a tabular format, what has changed over the years really. I know even incremental improvements in such a project for students would be colossal effort along with studies, but just wished to understand.

200kg is a nice target.
dry or with fluids?

also, what material you use for the bodywork?

which competitions are you'll going to be participating at?

Cool car , nice work , you guys could have made the roof hoop smaller or shorter , or probably u guys could have had another intake fold with a duct with the roof hoop . Either way the car is good , and 200 kg is a awesome target , can some tell me what material you guys used for the frame and suspension geometry .
