VW India's new website : The making of Polos & Ventos

VW India just took live this website showing some of the things that go into the making of Polos & Ventos. The interactive website is nicely designed and fun to navigate. Try it out.

If you want to know how a car is manufactured, click here.

Great initiate! Just wish that the cars in the maze had an ultra low turning radius

On a serious note, It would have been super informative if the thrust was more on the processes and if the processes were sequenced logically. We can always look for the features in the official website or even better on T-BHP

And does every car go thru' the pebble test, desert test etc.,?

I think, the whole idea of keeping the design "fluid' is to keep the information to be accessed randomly than going through a logical / sequential / linear way.

For me it feels like lowest turning radius I had ever driven. Press Up key + Down Key + Right Key = Car turns right on its center axis. I wish this feature was there in our every day car for tight parking and u-turns

PS: The car which I sleeted (Polo) don't turn left

Cheers!
