The Odo is now at 97,213. Car has been in a rather long hibernation since the battery is doing duty in my amby

Got 363 stamped with the signature of the great Giorgetto Giugiaro.

It's 97,455 on the Odo and completed a drive to ooty as part of the Coimbatore Team BHP meet.

Half tank fuel for 222kms which averages to about 9.25kmpl for the round trip.

The odo has trickled over to 97,897. With the compass coming in, the Palio has been deprived of drives. Plus the car completes 15yrs this october and the fitness test is due as well.

The car was not only deprived of drives, but also from a good pressure wash. So took her out to 3M car care yesterday for a wash and wax.

Need to take her out for a longish drive soon! Until then some pictures:

Grossly unfair of you to have driven the beauty less than 500 km in a year! That said, the car barely looks it's age and appears prepared to slog on for another 15 years. Great work maintaining it in such good form.

363 completed 15 years as on the 10th of October 2018. Got the fitness renewed a week before hand and now the odo has crossed the 99k mark!

The inspection was the Coimbatore central RTO office and lucky me the inspecting officer seemed to be well informed about the Palio and also on the S10. At first he was startled on the bright yellow color among the numerous utility vehicles lined up for that day!

He then checked the RC and on seeing canary yellow and S10 printed on it I felt he was reminded of this modern classic!

After inspecting and some customary questions, he signed the papers and asked me to leave! A pleasant experience and the S10 managed to turn heads in the campus

Ok, so some updates after over 2 years

363 has been doing great. Thanks to the WFH, able to spend more time with family and my cars too! Importantly, all of them getting driven more than ever!

Back in Nov 2018, the odo rolled over to 99,000

Sunday mornings like this

Did a quick burst to upto Pollachi from Coimbatore for Breakfast along with family and friends

The odo now stands at 101180 kms. Got a leak in the thermostat and it's currently being held up with mseal!
