Hi csr9. Yes the issue was sorted out after the change of IC in the ECM. There is a possibility that an IC is probably the issue but Skoda will not repair but replace the affected part. I assume a new ECU will easily cost a lakh or so. See if you can find a good mechanic to get the ECU repaired if possible.
