Damn. Glad I saw this thread. It's horrifying, guess I need to rethink my decision now.

I just read the whole thread in one go and I am feeling so sad right now. I had an issue with Honda's service and then I decided to change the workshop. After reading all this I think that showroom's service was godlike and that issue was no issue.

Hoping for a genuine solution from TATA.
