I found this advertisment for a product that claims to increase power by 15%
Its called Perfomance Chipping
Performance power module
They claim that it works on the principle of removing the sensor on the air intake side & installing the chip here, which gives a readout to the ECM such that the air temperature is low & fools the ECM into beliving that the air temperature is cold.

The dealer for this is based out of noida.
Has anyone tired this out.

Mods is there anyway i can up load an acrobat reader pdf file coz that has all the details.on this product sorry no website.
Cost of the product is Only 1200 rs

I would love to see that 15% on any car dude...These are all silly claims! A resistor shorting the temp sensor would do the trick for you at approximately 1buck but all at a compromise with probably 1% gain.

i tried out the dealer in noida ... he firstly had no clue bout the advertisement giving in AUTOCAR, after showing him the magazine he said "ohhh that faridabad guy had come for a dealer ship of chipping etc" after hearing this we left ...well ... a CAI is a better investment in terms of perfomance i think rather than letting these ppl tamper with ur ECU.
