Pictorial: Disassembling and reassembling an Engine

This guy took 3000 pics

Quote:
Started out as just a collection of snaps as I stripped down an engine bought off ebay. (To replace my old engine, which had suffered catastrophic failure). The snaps were so that I remembered how everything went, so I could put it back together again.

Should have been a tad slower, but a good video nevertheless. And hats off to the meticulous work by the guy in taking the photos and making a video out of it.

In case others are wondering which car it is-

It is a Triumph Spitfire.

The engine seems to be quite similar to our Standard Herald of yore. Of course, both belonged to the same family.

Watched the above video and then some... and came across this - World's smallest V12 made from scratch and test running!
