Hey Thanks, but I didn't do anything more than others.

My suspicion was right, you are using too much brakes instead of engine braking. Other than wearing it out faster, the brakes will also get hot and become less effective. Therefore start using engine braking my friend. Here is a thumb rule, if you use 2nd gear while climbing an incline, use 2nd or 3rd gear while coming down the same incline. Same gear or one higher. Since Gangtok roads are full of closely placed hairpin turns, you will rarely get to drive above 3rd gear. Any higher gear on the declines, you won't get engine braking.
