SOS.

KEB painted the transformer and silver paint carried by the wind deposited in fine spots all over my Potomac blue Accent.

I tried searching the forums for a possible remedy without success. Hence this posting.

What do I do?

Please help!

rubbing and polishing is the firstmost solution for problems like this.

but if it doesnot helps then i m sorry to say we donot have anything to keep the paint intact!
some other methods are there but they migh leave some scratch.

better try rubbing twice and then do the polishing.

seems to a problem everywhere in India. Try authorised service centre. They might have surely come across similar issues with other customers. They might be able to help you out. Its difficult to remove paint spots in conventional way.

Hey dude.. I too had a similar problem, dont worry its not a major issue as far as i can c, just get your car polished, it shud solve the problem.

Best bet is to let a professional do it as too much rubbing pressure and you may end up cutting extra layers of Original paint as well.

Thanks for all your inputs. I guess I will take the car to the service center and check what best can be done. I hope to do that this weekend. Meanwhile, any suggestions are welcome. Will keep you posted on the developments.

Does anyone know if a product called 'Googone' is available? A friend of mine has it and it is quite amazing. It removes new/old paint spots, sticker gum, tar, etc. I got some red paint spots on my silver swift and I used a bit of this and it removed them very nicely. At times it needs a bit of soaking and re-application, but it does it very well without disturbing original paint/glass.
