When I want to restart the engine, I cant simply crank it from ACC. It has to be taken back to LOCK and then I can crank up the engine. Now whats the logic here?

No logic my friend. Simple case of not thinking things through by the guys who developed the car.

I saw this feature first time in a Ford Ikon Diesel & the sales guy said its given so that kids cant crank the engine while playing I was like *** what kind of reason is that :o anyways I have heard that this was given to protect the engine or the self from repeatitive cranking donno how true this is.
